We're excited to announce that MoonPay is a launch partner for Solana Developer Platform (SDP), a new API-driven platform from Solana Foundation that makes it easy for enterprises and financial institutions to build and launch financial products on Solana.
SDP brings together infrastructure from across the Solana ecosystem into a single interface, organized around three core API modules: issuance, payments, and trading. The issuance and payments modules are live today, with trading to follow later in 2026. Together, these modules give institutions a clear, efficient path to designing, deploying, and scaling blockchain-based financial products.
MoonPay is integrated within SDP's ramps category, powering fiat onramp, offramp, and stablecoin payment flows inside the platform's payments module. At launch, developers can access a sandbox version of MoonPay's infrastructure to test and prototype use cases on Solana devnet before moving to production.
The platform already has significant enterprise traction. Mastercard is using SDP for stablecoin settlement, Worldpay for merchant payments and settlement, and Western Union for cross-border payments. More than 20 infrastructure partners are integrated at launch across four categories: node infrastructure, wallets, compliance, and ramps.
"Solana Developer Platform provides an easy gateway for any financial institution to build on Solana from day one," said Catherine Gu, Head of Product, Digital Assets at the Solana Foundation. "At launch, we have over 20 different infrastructure partners integrated and the early interest we've seen from enterprises and institutions signals strong demand."
