MoonPay earns ISO 27701 certification

MoonPay is pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO 27701 certification!

ISO 27701 is a leading international standard for managing private information. It defines clear controls for protecting personal data and ensuring accountability.

As an extension of the ISO 27001 information security standard, ISO 27701 focuses specifically on establishing and managing a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS). The framework helps organizations responsibly collect, process, and safeguard Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in line with global privacy regulations.

“Earning ISO 27701 shows our ongoing commitment to strengthening privacy and security across everything we do,” said Doug Innocenti, Chief Information Security Officer at MoonPay. “Together with our ISO 27001 and certifications, it reflects the maturity of our programs and the trust our customers place in us.”
