MoonPay adds support for USAT

We’re excited to share that USAT, the U.S.-based stablecoin launched by Tether, is now available for MoonPay customers!*  

Users can now buy USAT directly via MoonPay using all major payment methods, including debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and bank transfers.

What is USAT? 

USAT is a U.S.-based, dollar-backed stablecoin designed with a focus on transparency and compliance with forthcoming GENIUS Act guidelines.

Built using Tether’s Hadron technology, USAT provides a digital alternative to cash and traditional payment rails. USAT is led by Bo Hines, former Executive Director of the White House Crypto Council.

Tether’s USDT is the most widely used stablecoin in the world and is recognized as a digital dollar for emerging markets. The launch of USAT represents the next phase of Tether’s expansion in the U.S.
