Onchain credit is a way for businesses to borrow based on their activity, instead of assets they set aside as security.
Most onchain lending today is overcollateralized: a borrower posts more crypto value than they receive, and that collateral protects the lender if things go wrong. It works, but only for people who already hold enough crypto to secure a loan.
Onchain credit takes a different approach. A lender looks at a business's real payment or settlement activity, verified onchain or through the business's own records, and extends credit based on what that activity shows over time.
