PayBox Markets adds Whop, bringing agent commerce to Whop businesses

We’re excited to announce that Whop has joined PayBox Markets, MoonPay’s aggregator layer for storefront networks. The partnership brings agent commerce to hundreds of thousands of Whop businesses. Any agent using PayBox can now search for products, place an order, and pay, with the buyer controlling purchase approvals.

PayBox is MoonPay’s payment vault built for AI. It connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Grok through a custom connector, so an agent can prepare transactions inside a conversation while the buyer controls when and how money moves. Wallet keys sit behind threshold cryptography and secure enclaves, so no single party, including MoonPay or the AI itself, holds a full key or can sign alone.

PayBox Markets extends that to commerce. A market connects once, and any agent on PayBox can search it, order from it, and pay for it. With Whop, agents can buy products, subscriptions, and services from the businesses that sell there.

How it works

1. Ask your agent. A person asks their agent for what they want.
2. PayBox searches. PayBox looks through Whop for real items with live prices.
3. PayBox prepares the order. PayBox sets up the order for the item the buyer chose.
4. PayBox shows what will happen. Before anything moves, the buyer sees the item, the total, the payment method, and the recipient.
5. The buyer approves. The buyer controls purchase approvals through rules they define.

People choose how much control to hand over. Always Ask requires passkey approval on every transaction. Autonomous lets the agent act within limits the person sets in advance, and access can be revoked at any time.

What this means for Whop businesses

For Whop business operators, existing stores become reachable by agents without any changes to their setup.
