Locus now supports crypto payments for UK visa and electronic travel authorization (ETA) applications, powered by MoonPay Commerce. Applicants can complete the entire process, from application to payment, without leaving the platform.

The service launches ahead of Solana Breakpoint in London in November 2026, and is open to any traveler applying for a UK visa or ETA.

Locus is a full-stack business travel and expense platform for globally distributed companies, with an onchain loyalty program built on Solana. It handles an entire trip on one platform, from flights, hotels, visas, eSIMs, and travel insurance to local expenses through Locus-issued virtual cards, with everything charged directly to the company's treasury and reconciled without reimbursements.

With MoonPay Commerce live in Locus, users can pay for their visa or ETA application in crypto and complete the process in a single flow. Identity and document capture, including passport and photo verification, happens inside the same flow.

For travelers, this means paying for essential documentation without a bank card or manual offramp. For Locus, it adds proven crypto payments infrastructure through a single integration, and sets the foundation for crypto payments across the rest of the Locus stack, from flights to hotels to its other travel services.

"Money is moving onchain faster than the services people rely on, and Locus exists to close that gap for all things travel," said Ash Walian, Co-Founder and CEO of Locus. "Letting someone apply for a visa and pay in crypto is the clearest proof of that, and MoonPay was the natural partner to make it happen."

"Travel is one of the clearest everyday use cases for crypto payments," said Ivan Soto-Wright, Co-Founder and CEO of MoonPay. "Locus is building infrastructure for how distributed teams travel, and powering payments for something as essential as a visa application shows what's possible when crypto works like money people can actually spend."

MoonPay Commerce is live in Locus today.
