MoonPay is thrilled to announce our partnership with crypto checkout solution Helio.
Founded in 2022, Helio strives to simplify crypto payments for merchants and creators by providing tools to accept cryptocurrencies like Solana, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. Its innovative wallet solution allows merchants to onboard new crypto users by enabling card-to-crypto payments from within the checkout experience.
Now Helio Wallet users can buy crypto via MoonPay using all major payment methods, including debit and credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and bank transfer.
“Our partnership with Helio represents a significant step forward in making crypto payments easier for businesses and creators,” said MoonPay co-founder and CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright. “By integrating with Helio, we’re enabling a smoother checkout that bridges blockchain with the Web2 checkout experience, helping to bring crypto into more everyday transactions.”
“Thousands of merchants rely on our seamless crypto checkouts to sell on-chain and engage with dynamic new communities,” said Helio’s co-founder and CEO, Stijn Paumen. “We're excited about the MoonPay integration, which allows our customers to easily onboard new crypto users and offers card-to-crypto payments directly within their checkouts—expanding their reach to a broader audience.”
Operating on the Solana blockchain, Helio has quickly gained traction with thousands of merchants and creators, and its platform currently boasts over 600,000 active users.
