We’re thrilled to announce that MoonPay users can now sign in using their Google account.

This added feature allows new users to skip the lengthy sign-up process and gives existing users a way to sign in that feels familiar.

Anyone with a Google account, which currently makes up more than three-quarters of MoonPay’s user base, can now experience faster sign-up and sign-in times.

Follow these steps or see the video below to purchase crypto via Google sign-in:

  1. Select your desired cryptocurrency on MoonPay

  2. Click to sign in with Google

  3. Choose your Google account

  4. Enter your wallet address and payment information

  5. Receive your crypto!

“On today’s web, Google’s sign-in functionality is near ubiquitous, so it made perfect sense for us to integrate it into our product,” said MoonPay co-founder and CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright. “This will be a core feature going forward, making it even easier for users to authenticate and receive their crypto.”

By signing in using Google, users will no longer have to verify their emails, and some of the data for know-your-customer onboarding will be pre-filled. This marks the first time MoonPay is enabling the use of automatic data input for our users.

Sign into MoonPay using your Google account to buy crypto instantly.
