Max Crown is Chief Finance and Operating Officer at MoonPay, the world’s leading Web3 infrastructure company enabling fast and simple ways to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. Max has played a central role in helping to set up and shape MoonPay’s finance and operations divisions, including installing in-house control systems, devising risk management programs and guidelines, in addition to liaising with the regulators in Malta, UK, Singapore, among others. 

Most recently, Max was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of an investment advisory firm with a focus on promoting international investments in Brazil. His firm assisted large U.S. and UK investment funds as they navigated investments ranging from greenfield land developments to buying large credit portfolios.

Max graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies from City University in London in 2004 and a Master of Finance from London Business School in 2009. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 2014.
