MoonPay USA LLC appoints seasoned advisor Mike Lempres to Board

We’re thrilled to announce that Mike Lempres has joined the Board of Directors for MoonPay USA LLC.

Lempres has an unparalleled track record supporting companies and founders with expertise spanning corporate governance, capital raises, and executive functions like hiring, compensation, and retention. He has also served on the boards of notable companies including Bitstamp, Revolut US (where he was chair), and Coinbase. 

As Chief Legal & Compliance Officer for Coinbase, Lempres contributed significantly to the exchange’s IPO and hyper growth period. In 2019 he left the company for venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, where he was an advisor for over two years.

Besides working closely with both public and private companies, Lempres also boasts a background in the public sector, where he held senior posts for three separate Presidential administrations and served as Mayor of Atherton, a town in San Mateo County, California.
