Keeping track of how your crypto is performing shouldn’t feel like a math exercise. Until now, understanding whether your crypto wallet was up or down often meant manual tracking and switching between apps, or just relying on memory.

That’s why we’re adding Profit & Loss tracking to the MoonPay app. It shows how your open positions are performing and how much you’ve made overall. Now you can see your profits at a glance, without any spreadsheets or extra tools involved.

The new Profit & Loss is available on multiple networks including Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum (across Mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum) and EVM networks like BNB Chain and Base.

• 💳 Smoother card payments: We upgraded our payments infrastructure and paying with your card on MoonPay is now more reliable, with higher approval rates and fewer declines.
• 🏎️ Faster app: The app is now noticeably faster. Your Swap screen loads almost instantly and other list-heavy screens feel smoother too.
• 🏁 Speedier sign up: New users can now get started with the app much faster, with wallet setup and first login times cut in half.
• 🔑 Easier login: Signing in to MoonPay is now faster and smoother, as we removed the annoying captcha tickbox. If you are a human (are you?) you get to enjoy a lower friction experience.

We're thrilled to introduce MoonTags, which will vastly improve how you send and receive crypto. Gone are the days of complex wallet addresses and confusing networks. Now you can use a simple and unique username — your MoonTag — for all your transfers.

You’ll start with a default MoonTag from MoonPay, then personalize it with your own name and profile picture. You have the option to let other users find you via your MoonTag or phone number, giving you full control over your privacy settings.

Our goal is to make moving crypto as intuitive as sending a text message to a friend, unifying all your transactions under one easy-to-remember tag and hiding the technical details.

• 🔒 Smoother authentication: We know captchas can be frustrating, so we're optimizing them for key processes to speed up your login while still preventing malicious activity.
• 🇩🇪 MoonPay Balance in Germany: Hallo! If you’re in Germany, you can now hold Euros in your MoonPay Balance and enjoy fast, low-cost, and secure access to 60+ cryptos with zero MoonPay fees. Top up with your favorite method (bank transfer, PayPal, Apple Pay or Open Banking), trade tokens instantly, and withdraw to your bank anytime with near-perfect acceptance rates.
• 💌 Exchange assets with friends: There’s a new screen to quickly send or request assets. When sending, simply search your friend’s MoonTag, add a short note, and hit send. You can also receive payments (like that dinner with friends) in your favorite token.

MoonPay is built with multiple layers of protection. And now, it includes biometric authentication. Your assets are always yours, and with Face ID, Touch ID or your device’s PIN, they are even more secure.

The app will lock automatically after inactivity or closure, and you can adjust lock settings anytime in the app. If you are a new user you will see a quick walkthrough to get started right away.

This update reduces fraud risks, protects against account takeovers, and delivers the same smooth experience you already expect from top FinTech and Web3 apps.

• 📥 Easier deposits: We completely redesigned the deposit screen to make it simple and easy to add funds to your MoonPay account, whether you're topping up your balance or depositing assets like BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP or TRX.
• 🪙 Transfer from Coinbase: We integrated with Coinbase and now you can seamlessly move assets directly from Coinbase to your MoonPay account using the revamped deposit screen.
• 🇨🇦 Support for Interac e-Transfer® (Canada): You can now buy crypto using Interac e-Transfer®, the same trusted payment method you use for everything from coffee to rent. It’s fast, familiar, and offers better success rates for our Canadian users.
• ⏳ Custom loading screen: If you have an integration with MoonPay, you can now customize the loading screen to better match your brand. Choose between building your own loader or using our built-in theme customizer from the Partner dashboard.

Today, we have a new addition to the MoonPay constellation of products. Introducing MoonPay Convert, a simple and secure way to convert your crypto assets through our DeFi integrations directly within your MoonPay account. The crypto market is constantly in motion and now you can be too. Whether you're looking to hedge against volatility or capitalize on a new trend, MoonPay Convert gives you the flexibility to act instantly.

You’re able to convert any token you own into another through our DeFi integrations with just a few simple clicks – no bridges, no waiting and no guesswork. We support the conversion of many tokens, including classics like Bitcoin and Ethereum, popular stablecoins and memecoins too. This gives you the flexibility to react quickly to market shifts.

You can track all your conversions directly in the app, which is especially helpful for slower networks or when you have multiple conversions happening at once. Don’t worry, you don't need to constantly check your phone, as we'll send you a notification when the conversion is complete.

Improvements

• Faster crypto transactions: Do you like speed? Then you'll be glad to hear we've significantly improved transaction times for our most popular assets: LTC, DOGE, ETH, BCH, and ADA are now 2-6 times faster.
• Show off your crypto gains: Easily share your Solana token gains (and losses) directly from the app. It generates a fancy card that you can share with friends on social media or in DMs. It also includes a referral link, making it simple for others to get started and join you.
