    Elrond eGold now supported in the US

    MoonPay will now enable the purchase of Elrond eGold (EGLD) with fiat currency in the US.

    We’re delighted to share that Elrond eGold (EGLD) is now live for purchase for MoonPay customers in the US!

    Elrond is a fast and secure blockchain for digital payments, distributed apps (dApps), and enterprise use cases built for the new internet economy. The network runs on minimal fees (as low as $0.001 per transaction), which are used to support security and transaction speed.

    Due to regulatory reasons, Elrond purchases are available in every state except Hawaii, New York, Rhode Island, and the US Virgin Islands.

    EGLD is available for purchase via MoonPay or through Maiar, a completely decentralized and non-custodial wallet. Maiar, which also allows users to store Binance (BNB), Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC), rewards EGLD through staking, delegating, or running a validator node.
