Many councils advise the president. In addition to well-known examples like the National Security Council and Council of Economic Advisers, there are dozens of specialized councils set up for specific policy issues.
Trump has pledged to be a “crypto president”, and the creation of a crypto advisory council (along with a U.S. Bitcoin strategic reserve) has been one of his key promises. Until recently, however, we’ve known very little about this council. We now know:
