Republic Realm selects MoonPay for NFT drop

We’re thrilled to share that MoonPay has been chosen by Republic Realm as the exclusive on-ramp for the Atari GFT drop, which is now live!

Users can purchase these special edition Atari NFTs via MoonPay using a credit/debit card.

What is a GFT?

A GFT is a gift-wrapped NFT that remains a surprise until its contents are revealed at a later date. This special edition Atari collection was created to celebrate the video game company’s 50th anniversary.

Anyone can buy GFTs simply by charging their credit card, instead of waiting days for their funds to settle on an exchange before withdrawing to a wallet.

After the whitelist sold out within 24 hours, Atari GFTs are now available for purchase to the public.

How to buy Atari GFTs

1) Buy your GFT

To buy a GFT, head to the Atari GFT Shoppe landing page and connect your MetaMask wallet. You can connect an existing wallet or create a new wallet address if you do not yet have one.

Once your wallet is connected, just use a credit/debit card to buy a GFT via MoonPay. If you already have the required Ethereum in your wallet, you can also use that to purchase your NFT.

2) Send your GFT

After purchasing, you can send your NFT as a gift by including the recipient’s email address. Given the gift box shapes of the NFTs, users are encouraged to gift their purchased GFT by sending it to another email address. GFTs can also be held until the reveal date or sold on secondary marketplaces.

3) Unwrap your GFT

All purchased GFTs will be revealed at a later date, at which point they will unwrap to show which NFT each user received. All items in the collection are a mystery, limited edition Atari NFT. There is even a rarity chart that you can view to discover just how unique your GFT is. And as a bonus for bulk buyers, holders that own four or more Atari GFTs will be whitelisted for the opportunity to purchase an additional, surprise GFT that will not be available to the general public.

Atari GFTs remain a surprise until they are revealed at a later date.
