MoonPay welcomes seasoned growth specialist JD Millwood as VP of Growth
The former Curve and Coinbase growth expert joins MoonPay as the company continues to scale globally.

We’re thrilled to announce that MoonPay has hired growth specialist JD Millwood as Vice President of Growth.
Milwood joins us at a crucial moment in our development. Just three weeks ago we announced a $555 million Series A funding round led by Tiger Global Management and Coatue—the largest and highest valued Series A for any bootstrapped crypto company globally. The historic funding round has set off a period of extraordinary growth for the company, for which Milwood will play a central role.

Prior to joining MoonPay, Millwood was the VP of Growth and Product at Curve, a consumer-facing company that aggregates multiple payment cards through its mobile app. He was also Head of Growth at Coinbase and has held many growth-related roles at companies such as Uber, Mercer, and Dolby Laboratories.
Millwood will be leading MoonPay’s growth and marketing functions to increase brand awareness while we rapidly scale our customer base. His wealth of experience across growth and product will be critical to ensuring the business is able to develop its exposure while continuing to innovate ways for our users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
