We’re thrilled to announce that MoonPay’s fiat on-ramp integration is live on SolSea, the Solana NFT marketplace where creators can mint NFTs that contain embedded copyright licenses to protect intellectual property.

Why SolSea integrated with MoonPay

SolSea chose MoonPay to eliminate barriers of entry to the NFT economy and remove friction associated with converting fiat to cryptocurrency. Instead of having to first buy on an exchange and wait several days to withdraw to a wallet, now SolSea users can buy crypto and NFTs directly on the marketplace with a credit/debit card.

With the space growing each day, it has become an urgent need to provide solutions that will make NFTs even more accessible. The Solana ecosystem is one such solution, distinguishing itself as an Ethereum competitor by offering high-speed transactions with low gas fees. A wide audience of Solana NFT enthusiasts has flocked to marketplaces like SolSea, where they can simply and cheaply mint, buy, and sell NFTs.

SolSea shares MoonPay’s vision that buying crypto should be easy for all, regardless of experience.

“We strongly believe that in order for our ecosystem to expand we have to provide more solutions to non-crypto users and make them a part of the same game,” said SolSea co-founder Jovan Tišma. “Only then we could have a strong marketplace where creators and users can feel safe trading.
