MoonPay Adds Support for USDG on Robinhood Chain

We're excited to announce that MoonPay has added support for USDG on Robinhood Chain.

Robinhood Chain has just gone live on Mainnet, marking a new chapter in Robinhood's push into onchain infrastructure. USDG, the Global Dollar stablecoin, serves as the primary stablecoin for the Robinhood Chain ecosystem.

With this integration, MoonPay users can now buy USDG directly on Robinhood Chain through Ramps, using familiar payment methods like debit and credit cards, bank transfers, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. MoonPay handles the onramp experience end to end, so users can move from fiat to USDG on Robinhood Chain in a single flow.

This gives users a direct path onto Robinhood Chain, without needing to first acquire crypto elsewhere and bridge it over. For an ecosystem just coming online, having a reliable fiat onramp in place removes a key barrier to early adoption. 

The integration also reflects the growing role of stablecoins as the default unit of account for new chains built around consumer finance. As Robinhood Chain expands, USDG is positioned to serve as its core dollar denominated asset, and MoonPay's support gives users an easy way to acquire it directly.
