Tomo integrates MoonPay for crypto purchases via social logins

MoonPay is excited to announce a new integration with Tomo, expanding access to crypto purchases across Web3 applications built with the Tomo Web SDK and TomoEVMKit.

Developers can now embed MoonPay directly into their dApps and platforms via Tomo’s toolkits, making it easier for users to buy crypto with familiar payment methods like credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers.

The integration covers Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, and Sui, among others. Users can authenticate via Google or Telegram and immediately buy crypto assets within the same dApp interface, eliminating the redirect flows that typically disrupt Web3 onboarding.

Tomo SDK currently powers applications including Babylon Bitcoin Staking, Moso, and StoryHunt. The SDK provides authentication, wallet creation, swaps, and token management across EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, and Tron networks through a single developer integration.

The partnership addresses a key friction point as crypto applications compete for mainstream adoption. Traditional Web3 onboarding requires users to download separate wallet applications, manually configure networks, and navigate external payment sites - steps often resulting in user dropoff before completing transactions.

Social login adoption has grown across crypto applications targeting users unfamiliar with private keys and seed phrases. The MoonPay integration means any dApp using Tomo SDK now offers complete fiat-to-crypto onboarding without developers building separate payment integrations for each supported blockchain.
