MoonPay secures U.S. Money Transmitter licenses

As a testament to our ongoing commitment to meet all regulatory and compliance standards wherever we operate, we’re excited to announce that MoonPay has secured Money Transmitter licenses in 16 U.S. states.

These licenses are vital for companies who wish to offer buy or sell services independently of third parties. We now have licenses in:

• Alaska
• Arizona
• Arkansas
• Delaware
• Florida
• Georgia
• Iowa
• Kansas
• Maine
• Maryland
• Michigan
• New Hampshire
• New Mexico
• North Dakota
• Oregon
• South Dakota

We’ve also received exemptions in Massachusetts and Wisconsin, and have submitted an additional 26 license applications for approval. We hope to have more updates on this soon.
