    MoonPay expands support for Base

    Two of our payment solutions are now live within Coinbase’s L2 network.

    We’re excited to announce extended support for Base, the Layer-2 platform built by Coinbase. MoonPay’s on-ramp and Checkout solutions are now available within the Base ecosystem, providing users with an easy way to complete transactions. 

    Checkout, our simple and secure way to sell digital collectibles, is now live for marketplaces in the Base Network. This includes OpenSea, the largest peer-to-peer marketplace for NFTs. On-ramp support is also live for ETH and USDC, so Base users can more seamlessly engage with two of the most popular cryptocurrencies. 

    Base, an open-source Ethereum L2, has experienced remarkable growth since its launch in August 2023. The platform provides builders with a secure, low-cost solution to power on-chain apps at scale, and is one of the best ways to leverage Coinbase’s expansive ecosystem.
